About Silversmith Peter Hackert

A bit about Peter as told by Peter:

"The early and mid 1970s, mom and grandmother went to auctions and brought home indian jewelry. I was hooked. I wanted to learn all about making sterling jewelry. As a senior at Saguaro High 1975, I had a great teacher named Corky Chapman, who taught diversified occupations. Also, about the same time, a friend was working at Al Zunis in Scottsdale and would let me come along and learn. That set me on a course for developing my own style - "southwestern style" which has been a great gift to be involved in the craft. I thank my family and friends."
